Multisensory Storytelling
Introduction Multisensory Storytelling (MSST) is a way of including people with additional or complex support needs in the experience of storytelling. Anyone can enjoy a sensory story but they were designed for use with those who experience the world in a sensory way. The approach uses different objects or stimuli which stimulate the five senses, touch, smell, sound, taste and sight. A short, interactive story is told with the support of the stimuli, usually in a small group.
